Dr. Ruprecht received 11 years of comprehensive dental training from the University of Southern California, one of the world’s leading universities in dental education. She began her education with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. During this time, she discovered a larger scope of oral health care and her desire to pursue the specialty of periodontics. She completed her DDS degree with four years of training and then her three-year surgical residency in periodontics.
Dr. Ruprecht is fascinated with education and is a lifelong student of learning. With two decades of practicing periodontics and implant dentistry, each new experience and advancement builds on the next. Looking back on the standard of care 20 years ago, we’ve seen quantum leaps in patient care and clinical dentistry. Dr. Ruprecht is grateful to live in a time and a region where dental education and technology are truly world-class.

In private practice since 2000, Dr. Ruprecht takes an integrative approach to total health: emphasizing prevention, utilizing the body’s natural healing properties without chemicals when possible, striving for clinical excellence and quality patient care — laying a foundation for oral health. Dr. Ruprecht regularly prescribes platelet-rich fibrin for accelerated healing and dietary supplements to support immunity and recovery after surgery.
“The only way to keep your education is to give it away.”
Guided by her lifelong desire to teach and serve, Dr. Ruprecht enjoys teaching surgery and treatment planning in advanced periodontology as part-time faculty at the University of Southern California. She began investing in the next generation of dental professionals while a student herself and taught in the dental hygiene and restorative dentistry programs. Today, while her students benefit from her professional experience in private practice, her patients benefit from her continuing education and involvement at USC and its world-class resources in advanced dentistry.
Influenced by her parents’ care for the underprivileged, Dr. Ruprecht felt a calling for mission work early in her career. Her mission experiences have been profound and life changing. Without exception, she finds that mission trips impact volunteers’ lives, and they often want to include their friends and family. Dr. Ruprecht volunteers as the clinical director and a board member for SmileOnU, a global nonprofit dental relief organization. She has helped lead mission clinics in India and Cambodia, and local clinics in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Beyond her work, Dr. Ruprecht and her husband enjoy spending time with their family and traveling abroad for continuing education and mission work. They both enjoy the performing arts, music and history. Her active lifestyle includes swimming, cycling, hiking, skiing and yoga.
